Wacken 2019 package

Wacken Open Air is one of the biggest METAL festivals in the world. Every year the festival has over 70,000 metal fans from all over the world. 2019 marks the 30th Anniversary of the festival.What is included in this package:

• We will depart New York/New Jersey July 29, 2019 and return August 4, 2019.
• The package includes round trip economy class airfare from New York/New Jersey (EWR) to Hamburg Germany (HAM). Direct flight.
• Round trip transportation from Hamburg airport direct to the festival.
• 3 Day ticket to Wacken Open Air 2019, this includes access to the camping area, showers and toilets.
• Special Wacken/ World Open Air tours t-shirt.
• Cost is $1800 per person

Purchasing

• You must be 18 years old and over to purchase
• If you are not a USA or Canada citizen you must be able to obtain a SHENGEN Visa from the German embassy. Ypou need a valid pasport to travel. See Travel FAQ.
• We will only have a maximum of 100 packages available.

MONEY FAQ

• Can I put money down to buy ?

We are sorry but you need to pay the full amount.

• Can I cancel once I purchase ?

If you cancel before October 31, 2018 you can get a full refund . See our terms and conditions for full information on our cancellation policy.

• If I pay the full fare, but I need to cancel due to an unforeseen event?

You are advised to purchase travel insurance to protect your purchase. Again refer to the terms and conditions.

• I can not go, but my friend wants to go can I change the name for the ticket?

Yes, but there is a fee from the airline to change passengers, the fee ranges from $50-$300. This is an additional cost you must pay.

• I bought a ticket but I need another one for a friend?

Once packages sell we will not offer more. Packages are sold on a first come basis.

• I purchased a package but I need a visa, my visa was denied can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we can not give you a refund. Please know you can get a visa.

• What forms of payment do you take?

Major credit cards and PayPal. Other forms of payment must be arranged. We can take Bitcoin.

• How much money will I need at the festival?

Most major expenses are covered with your package but you will need more for food, or any other purchases you want to make. If you are on a budget you could get by with 100 Euros a day.

• Does the festival take credit cards?

75% places take credit cards (Visa and Master card only) or you can buy a prepaid Wacken card. You can add money to it and pay with it. They have ATMS at the festival which makes it easy to get Euros.

• What if World Open Air Tours cancels?

We are fully licensed and we are prepared for all eventualities, if for some reason we have to cancel the tour then all monies will be refunded. If we do not get at least 50 people, we will have to cancel. You will be informed well in advance of the festival.

TRAVEL FAQ

• Do I need a visa to Germany?

If you have a USA or Canada passport you do not need a visa. You need a valid passport to travel. If you are a Permanent Resident from the USA might need a visa. Please research the internet first. It is your responsibility to obtain visas required.

• I am not a USA resident can I still book a ticket with you?

Yes, but it will be your responsibility to obtain visas and be at the airport at the day of departure.

• Is the flight direct?

Most likely it will be a direct flight, we will have details on the flight soon.

• Is this ticket on a major carrier or small airline?

A major carrier.

• How much luggage can I bring?

You are allowed 1 normal suitcase or back pack, 50 lbs (23 kg) and one carry on.

• Can I upgrade my seats on the airplane?

No because we reserve a block of seats in economy.

• Can we have a large group of people can we sit together.

Yes but we will try to seat everyone together but everything is subject to availability.

FESTIVAL FAQ

• What do I need to take to the festival?

You will need to take money for food (we do not offer meals) and any personal things you need to buy; you need a sleeping bag and tent. The festival is very organized if you forget to take something or even want to buy it there (tents, sleeping bags, food, etc.) you can buy it there.

• If the weather is bad will the festival be canceled?

Rain or shine the festival goes on.

• Is the festival safe?

Yes, it is very well organized.

• Is the festival worth the money?

I have been there several times, the first time you go is the most memorable. It is definitely worth the money you get to be part of the Wacken experience. No other festival like this in the world.

GENERAL FAQ

• How do you have tickets, the festival is sold out?

Yes the festival is sold out. As a tour organizer we have until the end October to reserve tickets for large groups. Hence the deadline to purchase this tour package.
